Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations, prep accurate returns, and uncover savings opportunities. Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance or bookkeeping, incl. individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
