Job summary

Five Below is looking for an energetic manager-on-duty type role in Milford, DE. The position is hourly, with responsibilities including supervising store associates, training crew, and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will assist with stock, opening/closing duties, and ongoing onboarding. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and adaptability to a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

• Experience training crew and overseeing daily store activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new inventory.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store when required, including cash handling and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising and service.
