Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Leader to oversee daily store operations, supervise associates, and drive sales with a strong service focus. You’ll lead onboarding, help maintain stock, and manage opening/closing procedures to ensure a smooth day ahead.

The role emphasizes crew training, energetic leadership, and adherence to store policies, with a starting hourly rate noted and a requirement for flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Creative thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• WOW customers with personal contact at checkout and in-store interactions.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick shelf replenishment.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and enable daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and procedures.
• Perform routine store maintenance and cleanliness duties.
