Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to guide front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and safety while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will step into Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts and support the leadership team in daily store functions.

This temporary role offers leadership exposure during peak periods, with opportunities to train associates, boost sales, and ensure operational standards across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact and outstanding service.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experience and ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelves.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Open/close procedures: secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth operations.
• Onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
