Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly leader to help run day-to-day store operations in Wichita, KS. You will train the crew, oversee daily tasks, and ensure top-notch customer service while managing stock and merchandising.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication skills. You will also work on opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and staff development as part of a dynamic retail team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew WOWs the Customer with personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, and maintain security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
