Job summary

Five Below in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Seasonal Support Lead to manage daily store operations and lead crew members in delivering WOW customer service. The role involves training, stock handling, and ensuring smooth opening/closing procedures within a dynamic retail environment.

You will partner with the leadership team to drive sales, manage schedules, and uphold store standards while maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere that aligns with Five Below’s culture.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective duties and excellent customer service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check-out.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Occasionally opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms for smooth operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance such as cleaning and stock room upkeep.
