Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash receipts).
• Protect and secure store assets including cash; follow safety guidelines.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-organized store and stockroom; ensure areas are neat and presentable.
