Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Conyers, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help organize merchandise, and supervise Store Associates.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a high-energy retail environment; you will help with opening/closing procedures, payroll tasks, and loss prevention, while ensuring a safe, welcoming shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines and ensure associates follow policies.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
