Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking team members in Akron–Fairlawn, OH to deliver friendly customer service and support in-store shopping experiences. The role includes fast checkout, cash handling, and helping customers with rewards and private label credit card enrollments, while promoting the company programs and omnichannel processes.

Applicants should be able to stand long hours, lift heavy items, and move throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and ensure in-stock merchandising
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and promote a positive company image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
