Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Allen, TX is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and support store operations. You will ensure fast checkouts, assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

You’ll engage customers on rewards programs, enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in VOC surveys as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store including store recovery to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go-back process and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Interact respectfully with others; promote the organization’s vision and values; be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
