Pursuit is hiring a Sous Chef for the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge as part of our Spring/Summer 2027 season. The role includes overseeing kitchen staff, managing inventory, and developing daily specials, with a starting wage of $26.50/hour.

The position emphasizes guest service excellence, teamwork, and the ability to work both independently and within a high‑performing kitchen. Opportunities begin January or May 2027, with full‑time hours available.

Formación

• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Graduate or Culinary School viewed advantageous.
• Kitchen operations and staff management experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and participate in the preparation of menu items for dining room services.
• Instruct line cooks and prep cooks in their duties.
• Assist with presentation development and budgeted food and labor costs.
• Oversee staff, ensuring productivity and safety.
• Perform weekly inventory and order items as needed.
• Develop daily specials.
• Ensure proper use and handling of food and equipment.
