Pursuit is hiring a Cook II for the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. The role focuses on preparing menu items for dining room service using standardized recipes, while maintaining high standards of safety and guest satisfaction.

You will report to the Chef and ensure dietary restrictions are respected, manage inventory, and assist in provisioning and storage of supplies. This is a seasonal full-time position with opportunities starting February or May 2027.

Qualifications

• Alaska Food Workers card required or obtainable.
• ServeSafe certification is advantageous.
• CPR/First Aid desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Culinary training or equivalent cook experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare menu items for dining room service using standardized recipes.
• Take directions from Chef.
• Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
• Meet guests' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Estimate food consumption and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure safe storage and timely production of food.
