Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an Expeditor at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge to act as the bridge between kitchen and front of house. You will ensure food is presented well and assist wait staff with a range of duties to keep service smooth and guests satisfied.

The role starts in May as part of our Spring/Summer 2027 seasonal hiring, with a starting wage of $16.50/hour. This is a full-time position at our Talkeetna location, offering opportunities to grow with our hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior kitchen experience.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
• Alaska Food Workers card required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Expedite food from the pickup window on trays ready for the front of house staff.
• Ensure outgoing food is presentable.
• Prepare basic food production stocks.
• Arrange Expeditor station for following shift.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
