Pursuit seeks a skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in a busy, seasonal kitchen at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. You’ll supervise BOH staff, mentor line cooks and ensure high-quality, visually appealing dishes.

Lead prep, line cooking and banquet production while maintaining strict food safety standards and coordinating with the culinary team on menu specials highlighting local ingredients. Relocation and US work eligibility required.

Formación

• 2 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Experience in a high-volume banquet and wedding catering preferred.
• Seasonal environment with diverse teams.
• Current Serv-Safe certification or food handler sanitation certificate.
• Strong “can-do,” attitude with willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Hospitality and service-focused mindset including the need to work successfully with both internal and external partners.
• Willingness to work with a geographically dispersed team in a seasonal environment.
