Job summary

Francis O. Day Co. Inc. is seeking experienced Bobcat Operators to join our Asphalt Crew in a full-time seasonal role (March - December).

The position supports asphalt paving operations with skid-steer loaders, including site prep, material handling, and cleanup. Must be proficient with Bobcats, possess strong communication skills, and have a valid driver’s license. The job requires teamwork, safety training completion, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating skid-steer loaders (Bobcats) in asphalt paving.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to read and write.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
• Must complete Safety Training and company-provided training.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with foremen, crew members, residents, and customers.
• Perform pre-operation safety and maintenance inspections.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites.
• Safely load, unload, and transport equipment as needed.
• Operate Bobcat for grading, backfilling, and material distribution.
