Pave America is seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join its team. The ideal candidate will operate skid steer loaders, perform site preparation, material handling and routine maintenance to support multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years previous experience in skid steer operation.
• Pass pre-employment screen and criminal background check.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• 2-5 years' experience as skid steer operator or related construction/mining work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steer loaders to lift, load, and move materials.
• Use attachments (buckets, forks, augers) for various tasks.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading the ground.
• Maintain and service equipment, keeping it clean and fueled.
• Load/unload materials from trucks and transport on site.
• Coordinate with crew to ensure efficient task completion.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues or malfunctions.
• Record equipment usage and maintenance logs.
