Job summary

Vail Resorts, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Ski and Snowboard School for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will lead instructors, coordinate lessons, and assist with staffing to ensure top-tier guest experiences.

The starting pay ranges from $27.00 to $32.14 per hour for a winter seasonal, full-time schedule. PSIA-AASI certification and resort operations experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in snowsports, hospitality, recreation, or related field.
• Experience leading teams and supporting daily operations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop frontline leads, instructors, and support staff.
• Support daily lesson operations, staffing, and service delivery.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development.
• Resolve guest concerns and drive guest satisfaction.
• Assist with payroll administration, labor management, and operational reporting.
• Ensure safety standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Partner with other resort departments to support seamless guest experiences.
