Job summary

Giants Ridge in Minnesota seeks Junior Ski Instructors for the 2026-2027 winter season. You will assist with lessons, help create a safe and fun learning environment, and support experienced instructors while gaining hands-on teaching experience.

Must be 14 or 15 by September 1, 2026, enthusiastic, dependable, and able to work outdoors. Training dates: November 14, 2026; November 21, 2026; December 5, 2026. Seasonal role with Mountain Sports School advantages and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to ski at a proficient level.
• Enthusiastic and outgoing, accepting all assignments with energy.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand guests and coworkers in English.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Ski Instructor in teaching skiing and/or snowboarding to guests and school groups.
• Knows the principles of teaching snow sports and communicates them clearly.
• Organizes students into groups and prepares them for lessons.
• Directs guests to appropriate departments for tickets and equipment fitting.
• Maintains excellent customer service while interacting with guests, coaches and athletes.
• Assists in daily setup and takedown of the Mountain Sports School.
• Other duties as assigned.
