Job summary

Giants Ridge in Biwabik, MN is seeking a Junior Snowboard Instructor for the 2026-2027 winter season. You’ll support seasoned instructors, help create a safe learning environment, and gain hands-on teaching experience while earning a seasonal income.

This part-time role is open to ages 14–16, with required training dates in November and December. You’ll receive mountain perks like employee passes and discounts, and join a supportive team on the slopes.

Qualifications

• Ability to snowboard proficiently.
• Enthusiastic and outgoing attitude.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Clear spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Snowboard Instructor in teaching skiing and/or snowboarding to guests and school groups.
• Organize students into groups and help prepare for lessons.
• Direct guests to ticketing and equipment fitting.
• Maintain excellent customer service with guests, coaches, and athletes.
• Assist with daily setup and takedown of the Mountain Sports School.
