Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Culinary degree preferred; extensive culinary experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver savory cooking classes and in-store experiences that reflect Sur La Table’s standards.
• Drive sales by promoting cookware, cutlery, and kitchen tools during classes and demonstrations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized class setups; assist with mise en place and stock management.
• Engage customers with clear, approachable instruction and stay current on products and training.
