Job summary

Cinépolis USA in Tomball, TX is seeking a part-time Runner to deliver concessions and maintain high service standards in a theater environment. You will work with the team to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and enjoyable for guests while upholding Cinépolis hospitality standards.

Must be 18+, with 1+ year in food running or bussing preferred. ServSafe, food handling and alcohol training are required. Availability nights, holidays, and weekends is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins.
• Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously and of high quality.
• Double-check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if not.
• Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions or upsell Cinepolis offerings.
• Clean auditoriums and remove dishes and trash; report found items to management.
• Assist team members, scan tickets, clean restrooms, and ring up guests at concessions or box office.
• Handle guest complaints and direct to proper resources if needed.
• Monitor movie projections and inform management of issues.

Their focus is to deliver ordered food and drinks to guests, but they have a huge impact on creating excellent service that keeps guests coming back again and again. They ensure orders are delivered correctly and promptly, and that the guests have all that they need to enjoy the film and their meal. Their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality are what sets our dining in experience apart from the rest.JOB DUTIES• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins while embodying Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures. • Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. • Demonstrate Commitment, and Integrity at all times – double check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if they are not. • Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items. • Clean auditoriums removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items. • Be of service to your team members and assist them when needed including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or box office. • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist. • Be cognizant of issues with movie projections-communicating with management when issues arise. • Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to other duties. • Acknowledging guest by Cinépolis standards. • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Must be 18 years or older.
