Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a part-time Seasonal Runner in Inglewood to support our theater operations. Runners deliver concessions, kitchen, and bar items to guests, ensuring accuracy and timely service while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

The role requires 18+ years, ServSafe/Alcohol certifications, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. You will work closely with the expeditor and management to create a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older per state guidelines.
• 1+ years of food running or bussing preferred.
• ServSafe, Food Handling and Alcohol training certifications required.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations in a positive manner.
• Must maintain strong attention to detail while prioritizing in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Available nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests.
• Work with expeditor to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of orders.
• Double-check orders for accuracy and communicate issues.
• Suggest menu promotions, add-ons, or upsells to guests.
• Maintain clean theaters and assist with duties as needed.
• Assist with ticket scanning, cleaning, and concessions or box office tasks.
• Handle guest inquiries and redirect to the proper resource when needed.
• Monitor movie projections and report issues to management.

Their focus is to deliver ordered food and drinks to guests, but they have a huge impact on creating excellent service that keeps guests coming back again and again. Their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality are what sets our dining in experience apart from the rest.JOB DUTIES• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins while embodying Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures. • Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. • Demonstrate Commitment, and Integrity at all times – double check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if they are not. • Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items. • Clean auditoriums removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items. • Be of service to your team members and assist them when needed including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or box office. • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist. • Be cognizant of issues with movie projections-communicating with management when issues arise. • Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to other duties. • Acknowledging guest by Cinépolis standards. • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Must be 18 years or older.
