Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking store team members for the Fort Myers-Cape Coral area to assist customers, operate checkout and support omnichannel services. You will help customers locate products and promote rewards programs while maintaining in-store presentation.

The role involves cashier duties, stocking, and participation in safety and loss-prevention programs. A positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are important.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact professionally to be a role model for other Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
