Job summary

Michaels Stores in Fort Myers, FL is looking for a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

You will participate in SISO/AD set, support BOPIS and Ship From Store, and uphold SOPs while promoting a positive image. Cross training in Custom Framing is available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to learn store processes and SOPs.
• Ability to work in a standing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock condition and merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact professionally and be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
