Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience while maintaining stock and store standards.

You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, planograms, and omni-channel tasks such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, contributing to a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and general store recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
