Job summary

Michaels in LI-COMMACK, NY is seeking a Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will be trained to execute cash handling to standards and engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.

You'll assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties, and help maintain

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact respectfully and be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
