Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store position at LI-Commack, NY. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery tasks.

You will engage customers with the Rewards program, assist with omnichannel processes, and follow SOPs to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Attractive benefits and team discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock maintenance including returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with all teammates
