Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Amherst, OH store. You will help customers find products, process fast checkouts with accurate cash handling, and promote the Rewards program and private label cards.

You will assist with omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, manage truck unloads, stocking, and planograms, and participate in merchandising recovery to keep the store well-stocked and inviting. Be prepared for nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive, respectful work environment.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned
