Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a customer service associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and accept various payments while upholding Kohl’s service standards.

You will support inventory accuracy, assist with training, and participate in daily service processes. This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with starting pay at $12.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services, operate a cash register.
• Scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Ensure POS and service standards with courteous, fast service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register balancing, replenishing supplies).
• Assist training for new hires on service procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
