Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale and within service processes, with a focus on speed and a compelling shopper experience.

You will greet customers, manage the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while upholding Kohl’s standards. Training support and daily service tasks are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and process payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed personal goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, replenishment).
