Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer service associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale and in customer service touchpoints. You will operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments while maintaining Kohl’s standards.

Applicants should have strong communication, be able to multitask and work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. No prior retail experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older and flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, greet them, assist with products and services, operate a cash register and accept payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and adhere to POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes including register balancing and restocking.
