Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, assist with product information, and process payments while maintaining inventory accuracy and brand standards.

You may train new hires, participate in daily cash handling tasks, and work across shifts including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience is not required and the role starts at $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with ability to multi-task.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services; operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies).
