Job summary

Kohl’s is hiring for a customer service associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale. You will greet customers, operate the register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while upholding Kohl’s standards.

You’ll support inventory processes, meet performance goals, and participate in daily service routines. Training is provided for the service team, with opportunities for flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking with keen attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently per company guidelines.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on the service team, POS procedures, and using tools while upholding Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies).
• Follow safety policies and company procedures and respond to direction from supervisors.
