Job summary

Kohl's in the United States is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to deliver fast, accurate POS transactions and help customers find products. You will greet shoppers, scan items, bag merchandise, and accept multiple payment methods while maintaining brand standards.

You will contribute to inventory accuracy, assist new hires on the service team, and participate in daily service processes such as cash balancing and stock replenishment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Accurately and efficiently execute POS and customer service standards with courtesy, speed, and friendliness.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new service team members on POS procedures and Kohl's brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register and cash balancing, change orders, replenishment).
