Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the POS and service desks. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, scan items, and handle payments while supporting inventory accuracy and daily service routines.

You will contribute to a friendly, efficient shopping experience, meet performance goals, and participate in training programs for new hires. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and process payments.
• Deliver courteous, fast, and efficient service per Kohl's standards.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Help train new service team members and demonstrate POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, replenishment).
