Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an in-store associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and support services that drive a smooth, efficient checkout experience. You will greet customers, operate the register, process payments, bag merchandise and help teammates maintain store standards.

Responsibilities include meeting goals for loyalty programs, supporting inventory accuracy, and assisting with training new associates.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different payment methods.
• Execute POS and customer service standards accurately and efficiently based on company guidelines.
• Meet or exceed individual goals such as credit and loyalty participation.
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes including register balancing and replenishing supplies.
