Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the point of sale and throughout customer interactions. You will greet customers, handle payments, scan items, bag merchandise, and ensure accurate inventory and processes while upholding Kohl’s standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and flexibility, with opportunities to learn, support training for new hires, and participate in daily service operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Must be 16 years of age or older; no retail experience required.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist training for new hires on the service team and share best practices.
• Participate in daily service processes (register and cash balancing, change orders, replenishment).
