Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale, greet customers, operate the register, scan items, bag merchandise, and manage payments.

You will help maintain inventory accuracy, participate in daily service processes, support training, and strive to meet goals like credit and loyalty programs, all while upholding Kohl's brand standards and a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different payment methods.
• Accurately and efficiently execute POS and customer service standards based on company guidelines, providing courteous, fast and friendly service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist training of new hires on the service team, teaching processes and Kohl's brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register balancing, replenishing supplies).
• Act with integrity and foster teamwork in an engaged culture.
