Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store associate in Oxford, AL to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You will engage customers in rewards programs, assist with omnichannel processes, and uphold store standards while adhering to policies. Nights, weekends, and early shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Ensure merchandise recovery and in-stock store through proper procedures
• Support store safety and shrink programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
