Job summary

Michaels in Sturbridge, MA is seeking store team members to deliver friendly, efficient service at checkout and throughout the store. You will help customers locate products, explain rewards options, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role requires standing for long periods, frequent movement, and the ability to lift items. Applicants must be 16 or older. Base pay ranges and benefits reflect the Retail Associate position across our U.S. stores.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to maintain in-stock conditions
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully and model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
