Job summary

Michaels in West Springfield is hiring a store associate to assist customers, help them locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the store well organized with planograms and stock recovery.

This role involves engaging customers about rewards programs, assisting with BOPIS and SFS, and adhering to SOPs while maintaining safety and excellent service standards. Must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage customers and drive solution-oriented conversations.
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Promote rewards programs and enroll customers in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, merchandise return/go-back process, and general in-stock operations.
