Job summary

Michaels Stores in Aurora, CO seeks a store team member to assist customers, stock shelves, and process checkouts. You will engage shoppers with our rewards program, support omnichannel services, and help maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and following store policies while delivering friendly service in a climate-controlled public retail setting. Ability to stand long periods and lift boxes is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
