Michaels Stores is hiring at our Pitt-Washington, PA location for a Retail Team Member. You will help customers find products, provide friendly service, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

This role involves stocking, returning, and assisting with store operations, including adherence to safety rules and SOPs. Benefits include employee discounts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods.
• Willingness to assist customers with a friendly attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Assist with merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
