Job summary

Michaels in Whittier, CA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers locate products and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience while maintaining a well-stocked, inviting store.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and executing planograms; support Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store processes; remain flexible for nights, weekends, and early mornings. Must be at least sixteen years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards; complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with customers and team members in a respectful manner.
