Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Monroe, LA is seeking a Seasonal Team Member to deliver friendly service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist in unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and keeping the store well-merchandised.

As a seasonal associate, you’ll support cross-trained roles including framing sales and production, participate in store recovery, and help with omni-channel tasks such as BOPIS and SFS. Flexibility for nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in locating products.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking merchandise and maintaining store presentation (planograms).
• Engage customers in the benefits of Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs.
• Support omni-channel tasks like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
