Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring at its Silver Spring, MD location to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

Team members will engage customers in Rewards programs and private label credit card enrollments, while supporting truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery. Employees will participate in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around a store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and merchandise recovery.
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and participate in store recovery.
