Job summary

Michaels in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

The role involves assisting with BOPIS/SFS, VOC education, and adherence to SOPs while promoting a positive store environment and teamwork. Must be 16+ years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods; lift and move heavy items.
• Must be at least 16 years old per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards and private label credits; enrollments included.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram responsibilities.
• Complete merchandise recovery and stock availability tasks.
• Support store safety and shrink programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with customers positively and be a role model for team members.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
