Job summary

Michaels Stores in Maynard, MA is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining shelf accuracy to support a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves omni-channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), participation in store recovery, and adherence to SOPs while focusing on a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Must be 16 years or older per Michaels policy

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and teammates
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
