Job summary

Michaels stands as a leading arts and crafts retailer in Simpsonville, SC, seeking a friendly Team Member to assist customers, handle checkout, and maintain a well-stocked store. You will engage shoppers in rewards programs and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS, while upholding safety and store standards.

In this role you’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and shelf replenishment, working closely with teammates to ensure an inviting shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain in-stock appearance and perform merchandise recovery and return go-backs
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Assist shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with customers and co-workers; model company values and professional behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
