Job summary

Michaels in Columbia, SC is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Team Member to help customers find merchandise, answer questions, and create a welcoming shopping experience. You will manage checkout, handle cash accurately, and explain rewards programs while supporting store operations.

You will assist with stocking, resets, and omnichannel tasks such as BOPIS and SFS, participate in safety and shrink programs, and cross-train in Custom Framing to support a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stocking, planograms (POGs), and merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
